The tyre removal and fitting tool is a simple but inspired idea, essentially a big strong tyre lever attached to a long metal bar. A hole in the bar attaches to your hub and allows you to simply sweep the bar through a circle, which unhooks the tyre bead and makes removal very simple.

Tubeless Repair Kit for External Use

My tubeless tyres with sealant normally get on with fixing punctures on their own. However, there are those times when no amount of sealant is going to do the job. A misjudged drainage ditch, a bit of flint or a big-rusty-nail-in-a-plank are all previous tyre killers for me. Up until now I’d put a tube in but this is messy and still leaves the problem of an expensive tyre with a worrying cut in it.

When the tyre removal tool arrived I was pretty excited even though I had no idea what it was. I have pretty difficult tyres to remove – it’s hard work! I'm always snapping tyre levers and after reading the instructions it seemed relatively simple to use so I set to work.

When I tore open the box (like a man does) I stood back and looked at this tool wondering what it did. Then I had to do that thing us men hate doing, I read the instructions! At first I thought it was going to be a bit of a useless tool to have but within seconds of sliding the removal tool around the tyre bead and popping my innertube out I was sold!
