TF2 Plus Dry Lubricant with Teflon Surface Protector and TF2 Dry Wax Chain Wax + Krytox

Having had a few weeks of real nice sun as soon as Weldtite sent over my dry lubes to test, it appeared that the weather didn't want to play the game. It rained for 4 days straight following receipt of the lube so testing was delayed.

Finally we had some sunny(ish) weather and I whacked on the dry lube to test it out. First up was the TF2 Dry Wax Chain Wax + Krytox. Whilst it is a bit of a palaver to put on (for the impatient among us) it definitely does the trick. Smooth changing and didn’t pick up much grime on the trail.

Then it was the turn of the TF2 Plus Dry Lubricant with Teflon Surface Protector, this stuff is ace. Real smooth gear changes, easy to use and didn’t pick up any grime that I noticed.

Both lubes were pretty good but the TF2 Plus Dry Lubricant with Teflon Surface Protector was easier to put on and that’s what helped it beat the wax. If you have the time to apply the wax then you may prefer to apply that.

No down points that I have noted so far.
