TF2 Plus Dry Lubricant with Teflon Surface Protector and TF2 Dry Wax Chain Wax + Krytox
After switching between the two dry condition lubes several times during the last few weeks I can confidently say that I prefer the TF2 Dry Wax. In the mixed dry conditions I have been riding in it picks up noticeably less dust and grit on the chain than the TF2 Plus and with it's high contrast colour it is easy to apply just the right amount. Even in the few damp rides I have been on lately it lasts well, standing up to stream crossings and puddles.
Whilst I found the Dry Wax best for on my chains, the TF2 Plus was better suited for lubricating smaller, less exposed components like cables and shifters. Leaving gear changes smooth for longer. I'm expecting I will use the TF2 year round for this, it's water repelling properties and good penetration perfect for stopping rusty cables in the winter.
